Warranty period

Powder coating equipment that you purchase from MASS IF comes with a 12 month warranty. The warranty is effective upon acceptance of the equipment, regardless of the commencement of direct use. If the equipment is not used for its intended purpose during the warranty period, it does not extend.

Scope of warranty

We guarantee that any defects in the powder coating equipment you have purchased from MASS IF will be fixed free of charge.

The following items of equipment are covered by warranty:

  • Main units of the powder coating line – ovens, curing chambers, conveyor lines, surface preparation lines;
  • Operating parts of the main units – thermal units, fans;
  • Electronic equipment – all kinds of automation equipment used for operation of the powder coating line.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Electric motors – they are subject to natural wear and tear;
  • Elements subject to corrosion;
  • Other elements subject to normal wear and tear, called consumables.

The warranty does not cover any defects that are due to the user’s fault, nor does it cover defects due to:

  • Improper use of the equipment;
  • Use of third-party consumables (not recommended by the supplier);
  • Force majeure effects on the equipment;
  • The use of the equipment by incompetent persons

Occurrence of a Warranty Event

The occurrence of a warranty event is the case when the equipment fails to operate, malfunctions, or it is inoperable in the normal mode.

In these situations the following procedure should be followed by the customer.

  • Do not start the equipment, stop its operation.
  • Call the service center (the phone number is specified in the contract and warranty documents) and report the malfunction.

If the problem can be resolved remotely, our service center specialist will help you do it and explain how to make adjustments or small repairs to the equipment. 

If the problem cannot be resolved remotely, our repair team will arrive at the site during the period agreed upon with the customer (depending on the customer’s facility location and the workload of our service center repair teams).

Exchange and return of equipment

Equipment’s repair within the warranty period (12 months from the date of commissioning of the equipment) is performed absolutely free of charge.

In case if the repair does not help and cannot restore the equipment, the equipment is replaced. Transportation, delivery, installation and setup are carried out at the expense of the supplying company, absolutely free of charge for the buyer. The basis for the exchange of equipment is a certificate of failure, prepared on site by a specialist of our service center. 

In this case, the exchange is carried out with the equipment identical by technical and operational characteristics. Terms and conditions are agreed with the buyer.
